L'entreprise a été fondée en 1982 sous le nom Atelier d'Architecture Montgrand. Elle est reprise en 2018 par Miguel FORESTIER et Jean-Philippe HOFF, Architectes D.P.L.G. associés et devient alors l'Atelier Massalia Architecture.
